Matt focuses on growth equity and early-stage venture opportunities exclusively in financial services technology. He is a Board Observer on Insureon, Trov, and Urjanet. Prior to joining Oak HC/FT, Matt was a Vice President with LLR Partners, a middle-market growth equity firm, where he focused on investments in financial services technology companies. Matt was previously a Senior Associate at Lightyear Capital, a private equity firm focused on middle-market financial services companies. Matt was also an Associate in the insurance investment banking group of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. Matt graduated from The George Washington University with a BBA in Finance.

At Paribus, which was acquired by Capital One last year, Eric leads business development and growth strategy. As a pioneer in machine learning price tracking technology, Eric has a deep understanding of consumer behavior in response to technology and customer loyalty to retailers and brands. Prior to starting Paribus, Eric worked in financial restructuring, healthcare research, retail and consumer advocacy public service. He received his BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from Harvard University.

He began his career working with middle market companies at Arthur Andersen in Chicago, Illinois. He resides in Naples with his wife and three children. He is a softball coach, a soccer coach, and an active member of First Baptist Church of Naples.

He has been a Senior Fellow at Wharton, and a Visiting Scholar at NYU and Columbia. He is a Lecturer at Haas Business School at UC Berkeley. Phin earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and an MBA and PhD from Wharton Business School.
