The CSI globalVCard team had a wonderful time at HITEC 2015 in Austin, TX last month. HITEC this year proved that the hospitality industry is getting more tech savvy with every year that passes. David Disque, managing director at CSI globalVCard, was excited to see the hospitality industry heading to a true no-touch process from procurement through payment.
The convention came at a great time as we had just announced our partnership and integration with Birchstreet, a procure-to-pay (P2P) solution provider for the hospitality industry.
In addition to sharing our total electronic accounts payable solution, we had the opportunity to show off our mobile payment technology through a fun, interactive promotion. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in our #GrabYourCash promotion by stepping into the Money Booth for 20 seconds and grabbing as much cash as they could. Then the real fun began as we demonstrated how a virtual credit card can be created and issued within seconds. Our top winner had some skills – he walked away from our booth with a $57 virtual credit card!
